Safety etc...
We have three friendly, well-behaved collie dogs called Moss, Buster and Lily. They are as trustworthy as dogs can be with children, having lived with our family all their lives. But if you don’t like dogs for any reason, let us know and we’ll make sure they don’t trouble you.
There is a pond – fenced, gated and locked – about 500 yards from the yurts so please watch small children. There is also a shallow stream running through the yurt field, about 100 yards from the yurts.
We are sited off the road down a somewhat bumpy half-mile farm track. It is completely passable but we advise that you drive slowly.
We have livestock on the farm (sheep, chickens and horses) so remember it’s important to wash your hands after touching animals.
Please do be aware that the camping field is car-free. We can transport your luggage for you in our Landrover but unless you are disabled, you will be walking 200 yards to and from your car. The showers are by the parking area, so also a 200 yard walk from the camping field. If you have disabilities, please do get in touch and we will do our best to make a visit here possible.
