We have tried to make this a camping holiday where you don’t need to bring a lot of equipment.
You should definitely bring:
Wellies, torches, warm clothes, wet weather clothes and extra rugs and blankets if it is chilly.
A fully equipped kitchen (see picture below left) complete with plentiful supplies of Ecover washing-up liquid, Ecover surface cleaner, kitchen cloths and tea towels.
Bedding and bedlinen for the main double bed. You can hire additional sets of bed linen in advance for the other beds, at £7 per set of four pillowcases, double sheet and double duvet cover.
We can provide towels at £5 per set of three, booked in advance.
A starter set for your woodburner of logs, kindling, matches and firelighters. Additional supplies are on sale, very reasonably, at our honesty shop.
Your own compost loo will have two good-quality toilet rolls and more on sale at the honesty shop
Our honesty shop sells basic supplies including matches, firewood, kindling, milk, dairy products, snacks, small gifts and basic food. We also have a very good village shop in the village of West Hill open 7am-8pm with butcher, bakery, post office, wine, vegetables, newspapers etc.
Our showers (see picture below centre) are in the barn a short walk from the camping area. They are open 24/7, have constantly hot water and are regularly checked and cleaned.
We have fridges, freezer, a washing machine and tumble dryer in the barn, all free to use, plus power points for charging phones etc.
Each camping area has a picnic table and outdoor chairs for up to six people
